LEIA is a product for internal use by the customer’s business.
The customer’s desire to collect all the tools necessary for the company to operate in a single system was the main idea of the project. In addition, the team of New Line Technologies had the task to create the core of the new system on modern technologies and frameworks, which could be used for migration of the existing self-written system.
Challenges
The main core of the application should perform the main communication function that was implemented through the subsystems:
- users management
- chats
- event calendar
- notification systems
- CRM
- storage files that have been integrated for fast file and data exchange and knowledge base for the spread of information and sharing.
It was necessary to integrate the customer’s existing system with the new communication shell for it’s further migration to the modern technology stack.
Solutions
The New Line Technologies team had accomplished a long way from sketches and designs to a functioning system with a wide range of functionalities and subsystems.
As a result, the customer received a product with following capabilities:
- managing company employees by dividing them in rights and groups
- employee activity tracking
- synchronization of staff schedules
- general protected working environment
- task system with full feature set
- separate module for viewing downloaded images, magnification, and ability to download
- user-friendly file storage system with different levels of accessibility, content sharing capability
- CRM – with functions of flexible adjustment of contact trees, fixation of interactions
- calendar with integration with all subsystems, possibility of creation of events of different types and different behavior
- knowledge base with the ability to create and edit wiki articles in a visual editor.
Results
At the moment, MVP is successfully used by the customer and is in the final stage of testing and staff training.
